A welcoming aesthetic and detailed engineering process worked hand-in-hand to create the integrated sign and railing feature atop the University Drive bridge that extends over I-75 in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
This collaborative project between the City of Auburn Hills and the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) sought to streamline the flow of traffic around a commonly congested interchange, improve safety, and beautify the interstate overpass.
Stephanie Carroll, Manager of Business Development for the City of Auburn Hills, boasted about the project and the beauty of this custom metal sign feature, by Future Fabricating –
“We are very, very proud of this project. Having the first DDI in Auburn Hills is really just a fantastic thing for our community. We’re getting a lot of calls from people who are driving through the area and just saying how beautiful it is.”
