Mason Hall was the first academic building at the University of Michigan, constructed in 1841. While the spirit of its original masonry character remains, there have been many modern improvements, including the 2013 renovation of the Angell Hall Courtyard Computing site.
Commonly referred to as the “Fishbowl” the updates included modern aluminum cable railing to provide support and safety to the center’s raised floor plan.
